Project Title: Multi-Cam Workflow: Live Music Performance
Category: Non-Linear Editing (NLE) | Audio Synchronization
The Brief:
"Editing live music requires more than just cutting video; it requires rhythmic intuition. Sourced from the Cinestudy raw footage archive, the objective of this project was to simulate a professional 'Dailies Assembly.' The goal was to take multiple disconnected camera angles and a separate high-fidelity audio track, synchronize them, and edit a cohesive performance of 'Before You Accuse Me.'"
The Execution:
"This project utilized the Multi-Camera Sequence workflow in Adobe Premiere Pro. The first technical challenge was strictly organizing the assets and performing a waveform synchronization to align the external audio with the camera scratch tracks. Once synced, the edit focused on 'cutting on the beat'—ensuring that the visual cuts matched the musical tempo. I prioritized visual variety, switching between wide master shots and instrument close-ups to highlight specific musical moments (solos, vocals) without breaking the continuity of the performance."
The Takeaway:
"This project demonstrates proficiency in technical organization. It proves the ability to manage complex timelines with multiple video streams and deliver a seamless, rhythmically engaging edit."

In educational content, the first minute is critical for viewer retention. The objective of this project (sourced from the "Bring Your Own Laptop" curriculum) was to edit a high-energy course introduction. The goal was to assemble a cohesive narrative that introduces the instructor, showcases the software capabilities, and hooks the student immediately.
One set of dailies can yield infinite stories. The objective of this "B-Side" edit was to exercise creative versatility by re-imagining the previous footage. The goal was to shift the tone and pacing—exploring how different music choices and cut-points change the viewer's emotional response to the same information.
The final test of an editor is "Re-Contextualization." The objective of this third iteration was to take the familiar assets from the previous edits and force them into a completely new genre. The goal was to prove that the "mood" of a video is not dictated by the camera, but by the timeline.
The same event can be remembered in many ways. While the previous edit focused on the solemnity of the vows, the objective of this "B-Side" was to capture the euphoria of the celebration. The goal was to shift the genre from "Cinematic Documentary" to "Upbeat Montage," focusing on the reception, the dancing, and the candid joy of the guests.
Event videography is the art of distilling hours of unscripted chaos into a few minutes of cohesive emotion. Sourced from the EditStock professional archive, the objective of this project was to construct a "Cinematic Highlight Reel." The goal was not just to document the timeline of the day, but to craft a narrative arc that captured the emotional resonance of the ceremony.
Social media video requires a different psychology than traditional film. The objective of this project was to create a targeted piece of content for the Abilene, Kansas, community (Facebook platform). The goal was to maximize "Viewer Retention"—creating a hook in the first three seconds to stop the scroll and drive engagement for the local brand/entity.
Modern media consumption is increasingly vertical. The objective of this project was to adapt the Abilene, Kansas, brand narrative for the Instagram platform. The challenge was to break away from the traditional 16:9 cinematic frame and compose a visual story within the 9:16 vertical constraints, catering to the viewing habits of a mobile-native audience.
Action editing is about preserving momentum. Sourced from the EditStock archives, the objective of this "Parkour" project was to edit a high-intensity sequence that maintains spatial continuity. The goal was to make the athlete's movement feel continuous and fluid, even though the footage comes from multiple disjointed camera angles.
Modern retail environments rely on high-definition digital signage to reinforce brand prestige. The objective of this project was to produce a seamless video loop for an Audi dealership showroom. The challenge was to utilize existing high-resolution still photography and transform it into a dynamic video asset that could play continuously on a 4K display without visible cut points.
A narrative-focused video campaign designed to engage viewers through emotional storytelling. This project highlights skills in scriptwriting, visual composition, and thematic editing to illustrate a journey of personal revelation.
This project features a distinct visual overhaul, swapping standard cuts for organic light leak transitions. The result is a cohesive, "dreamy" vibe that smoothes the flow between clips, effectively capturing the romantic and timeless essence of the destination.
A technical demonstration of noise reduction capabilities, specifically removing background rain from a clip provided by Bring Your Own Laptop. The project is presented with "Original" and "Finished" tracks to showcase the clarity achieved in the final mix.
