Chrono Floater
Survive the temporal warp! As an astronaut lost in a bizarre sector of space, your life support system is running on a countdown timer. Navigate the strange currents, collect green Chrono-Particles to add precious seconds to your clock, and avoid the hazardous red particles that threaten to drain your time even faster.
Push your limits and see what high score you can achieve before your time is up!
How to Play
Movement: Use the Up, Down, Left, and Right Arrow Keys to control your astronaut.
Collect Green Particles: Fly into the green Chrono-Particles to add time to your life support. Be careful—just like you can only grab what is near your hands, the astronaut can only collect particles that touch their empty hand!
Avoid Red Particles: Colliding with the red Hazard-Particles will subtract time.
Goal: Survive as long as you can! Your score is based on the maximum altitude you reach.
Developer's Note
This game was created as a one-week project for a rapid prototyping course At Lindenwood University. The primary design focus was to build a complete game loop around a central time-based mechanic, where the player's actions directly add to or subtract from a countdown timer.
